RacerXX is a private track day event held annually at JenningsGP in rural north Florida. Organized by the members of the CBR1100XX.ORG rider's forum , this event gives members and their guests the opportunity to experience the thrill of riding on a track in an environment that is friendly and controlled. Take a look around the site. It provides information on the event dates, itinerary, and requirements for attendance. In addition, a little Event Swag is also available for purchase.
The majority of attendees have been riding together for many years. While we can be a slightly rowdy bunch, we are family. Many attendees have a lot of track experience and are always willing to help out those that are new to a track experience.
RacerXX is not just a bunch of carefree and wild riders racing around the track. We take very good care of all riders whether they are first timers or veteran track demons. Our track day includes instruction on how to enter and exit the track as well as providing a thorough explanation on the meaning of flags. Flags you say? Yes. The event comes complete with a complete staff of corner workers, emergency services and recovery vehicles in case of an incident.
WHY JENNINGS GP?
—
Their primary goal is safety. Their second goal is to make sure the riders have fun! There is plenty of run off room in all fourteen turns. Ride fast in the controlled environment of the track instead of the street.
JenningsGP is a two mile road course dedicated to motorcycles only. The track is fairly technical and very grippy even in wet conditions. The layout is 14 turns with a bit more time spent on the left side your tires (quite a bit actually.)
Jennings is a teaching track that has clearly marked "meatballs" that indicate entry, apex, and exit for each turn. Study the layout to get yourself ready in advance. There are several YouTube videos out there of people lapping the course if you want to get a sense of how it flows.
Besides riding in counter clock wise direction, Jennings GP has track days in clockwise (backwards) direction for those riders who want to enjoy riding a totally different track. They also have a " Novice " school and so much more.
